I joined the NewSound family in November 2020. I am a native Houstonian and obtained my bachelor’s degree in communication disorders from the University of Houston in 2017. I am very passionate about being able to help people hear their loved ones again. I love to spend my free time with my husband and our two fur babies.
Chelsea Mohammed
Audio Tech
Chelsea Mohammed is an Audio Tech. Chelsea is originally from Trinidad and Tobago and moved to Houston in 2019. Chelsea attended the University of Houston – Downtown and started working at NewSound in 2025. Chelsea began working in the hearing industry in 2023 and was drawn to the profession because of her passion for working with those with hearing loss.
What Chelsea loves most about saving hearing lives is seeing the quality of life of her patients improve after receiving the hearing help they need. Chelsea not only strives to put a smile on her patient’s face, but she focuses strongly on educating patients on their hearing health.
Outside of saving hearing lives, Chelsea loves hobbies such as playing tennis, watching movies and traveling.
Tamra Reynolds
Patient Care Coordinator
Tamra Reynolds is Patient Care Coordinator. She is originally from Houston TX, attended Lonestar College and started working at NewSound in 2019. Tamra began working in the hearing industry in 2016 and was drawn to the profession because she loves to help people hear better.
What Tamra loves most about saving hearing lives is the ability to hear a loved one’s voice or sounds that they used to love. Tamra strives to make sure each patient is given genuine care in their everyday work with patients.
Outside of saving hearing lives, Tamra loves hobbies such as traveling with her spouse and spending time with her grandchildren.
